Ella Hamilton About Me
I am a recent graduate of Northeastern University, where I earned a B.A. in Journalism and Political Science, graduating summa cum laude. I bring a strong foundation in strategic communications, public affairs, and storytelling, grounded in hands-on experience within government and nonprofit settings.
I have worked in high-level public service communications roles, including as a Press Assistant for the Mayor of Boston and the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. In these positions, I supported media relations, message development, and rapid-response communications, gaining firsthand experience navigating complex political environments and translating policy into clear, compelling public narratives.
Beyond government, I served as Mission and Mentor Development Coordinator for Strong Women Strong Girls at Northeastern University, where I led initiatives focused on mentorship, leadership development, and gender equity. This role strengthened my ability to communicate mission-driven messages and engage diverse audiences with purpose and authenticity.
At the core of my work is a belief in the power of writing to inform, persuade, and drive meaningful change. Whether crafting strategic messaging, shaping public-facing narratives, or advocating for equity and justice, I am motivated by communications that make an impact. This portfolio highlights the intersection of my experience in public service and my commitment to effective, values-driven storytelling.
